Senior Quantity Surveyor – Data Centre – Finland Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector. We are currently constructing multiple Turnkey Data Centre Projects across Europe, equating to over 500 MW of IT load in flight. We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This position will be based on-site in Helsinki, Finland.
Oversee the full commercial lifecycle of mechanical, electrical, architectural, and civils packages, including cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and financial control across all phases of the data centre project.
• Manage Procurement, Subcontracts & Contract Compliance
Prepare and issue tender documentation, evaluate subcontractor bids, negotiate contract terms, and ensure all subcontract agreements align with project requirements, local regulations, and main contractor standards.
• Oversee Valuations, Forecasting & Cost Reporting
Deliver accurate monthly valuations, cost forecasts, cashflow projections, and cost-to-complete reports, ensuring timely identification of risks, opportunities, and commercial impacts for senior management and the client.
• Control Change Management & Commercial Risk
Manage variations, claims, early warnings, and change control processes in a structured manner, ensuring all commercial risks are captured, assessed, priced, and communicated effectively.
• Support Delivery, Stakeholder Management & Compliance
Work closely with project managers, engineering leads, planners, and client representatives to maintain commercial alignment, support project delivery strategies, and ensure compliance with Finnish regulatory and contractual requirements.
Must have 8+ years in a similar role on large scale construction projects (Preferably Data Centres)
EU Passport is preferred but not mandatory
